How to use JamiiHub in your project?
๐ฅ Community members mainly access JamiiHub through designated WhatsApp groups (the same information is also available on a webpage).
๐ฉโ๐ผ NCA staff who want to use JamiiHub as part of their consultation practice are called administrators.
๐ Administrators set up and design WhatsApp groups through an administrative dashboard accessible via any internet browser.
๐ง If you want to become an administrator and start using JamiiHub with your community, please contact jamiihub@nca.no.
๐ What can JamiiHub be used for?
JamiiHub can be used to:
โ
Communicate with entire communities about issues at community level
โ
Communicate with beneficiaries in specific programmes about issues at programme level
๐ก Possibilities in JamiiHub
This is a short introduction to what you can do with JamiiHub. Detailed instructions are available here/under.
๐ฏ Targeted communication:
Organise community members into target groups to ensure relevance.
All members of a community (geographical, organisational etc.) should be gathered in one overarching WhatsApp group.
Community members can then choose additional WhatsApp groups specific to a programme or thematic area.
๐ Example: Chicken farmers living in Pemba can be members of the general โPemba WhatsApp groupโ for community issues and โModern Poultry Farming in Pembaโ for chicken farming discussions.
๐ Find out what is important to the community:
Administrators can use the WhatsApp group to ask users which issues matter most.
๐ฌ Users can respond by adding suggestions, and all group members can vote on incoming ideas.
๐ข Information and nano-learning:
NCA staff can share short messages with information, updates, and nano-learning.
๐ฒ All members in a WhatsApp group will receive the message.
๐ค Knowledge sharing:
When prompted by an administrator, all members in a WhatsApp group can share stories, knowledge, and opinions visible to the rest of the group.
๐ Surveys/polls:
Administrators and users can ask questions that others may respond to.
๐ Data collection:
All data is automatically collected and can be used by NCA staff to prioritise, design, and evaluate interventions.
