Thanks to the 5 participants who commented on how NCA can help poultry farmers.
They agreed that the NCA could assist farmers with practical training on good husbandry, the proper use of medicines and vaccines and on increasing the number of chickens. Many also highlighted the need for capital, inputs and market opportunities to promote commercial farming.

Vitamin deficiency (avitaminosis) in chickens occurs when essential vitamins are not available in the diet 🥦. It affects chickens of all ages 🐥.
Symptoms:
Cloudy eyes 👀, stunting, diarrhea 💩, thinning, curled toes, swollen tongue 👅, crusting around the mouth and eyes, and paralysis of the legs 🚫.

DAILY FOOD REQUIREMENTS FOR 100 CHICKEN 🐔
📅 0 - 8 weeks = 🐣 6 kg of chick feed
📅 9 – 16 weeks = 🐥 9 kg of grower feed
📅 17 - 19 weeks = 🐓 10-11 kg of laying feed
🥚 20 weeks onwards = 🥚 12-13 kg of laying feed
⚠️ Note: It is important to follow your chickens' feeding schedule accurately to avoid overfeeding.

Conference on the Importance of Business Contracts 📝
🤝The conference brought together stakeholders in modern poultry farming and buyers.
📝‼️The aim of the conference is to provide awareness on the importance of formal contracts in the trade of products produced by farmers such as eggs and chickens.
⚖️Among the topics discussed at the conference are the types of contracts recognized by law.
✅✍️ After the training, the farmers implemented the training by entering into written contracts.
